This Octane Boost Wizard is used to determine the amounts of commonly available fuel additives that can be mixed with available pump gas to achieve a desired octane rating. Octane boost mixtures should be used in moderation. Special caution should be heeded when using oxygenated fuels. Oxygenated additives are are mildly corrosive and will eat gas tank linings, rubber and aluminum if used in excessive ratios. If they are used, do not exceed 10% by volume otherwise, adverse affects or damage may result. Use of the suggested components and their mixture ratios are strictly at the user's own risk.
